Keyvan Moqaddam is a distinguished Iranian set and costume designer whose contributions to cinema and television have left a lasting impact.

With a career spanning over two decades, he has worked on some of Iran’s most acclaimed films and television series, earning multiple nominations and awards for his artistic vision.

Moqaddam began his professional journey in cinema in 1998, designing the set for ‘White Wings’, directed by Mehdi and Nasser Hashemi.

While this early project did not bring him widespread recognition, it provided valuable experience and the opportunity to collaborate with established artists.

His major breakthrough came in 2016 with ‘The Salesman’, directed by the renowned Asghar Farhadi.

The film, which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, showed Moqaddam’s exceptional talent in set design.

Although best known for his set design, Moqaddam has also made significant contributions as a costume designer.

His extensive filmography includes notable works such as ‘A Separation’, ‘I'm Diego Maradona’, ‘Malaria’, and ‘The Beautiful City’.

While his primary focus has been cinema, he has also contributed to television, including his work on ‘Next Door Neighbors’ in 2017.

Moqaddam's exceptional craftsmanship has earned him multiple nominations at the Fajr International Film Festival, Iran’s most prestigious cinematic event.
